* PHLWC Dives are short-notice meetups at bars/restaurants/coffee shops in/around the Greater Philadelphia area, at which we will feature one watch for Associate review. Both Mechanical and Automatic Associates are eligible to attend.
** PHLWC Escapement events are more formal occasions held 3-4 times per year. These will feature several watches brought in for Automatic associates to see and experience in person. PHLWC Escapement events will also feature free food and drink, and will generally be held at tasteful venues within a 25 mile radius of Philadelphia, PA, USA.
*** At some point in 2027, PHLWC will conduct an experiment with our Automatic associates, and make available select inventory for said associates on a lease/rental basis. Exact terms TBD and will vary by product. More to come on this front.
**** At launch, we will cap the size of our Automatic Tier at 30 associates, but will maintain a waitlist. We are doing this to ensure our venues will have enough space (and free food and drink) to accommodate all potential invitees. We hope to slowly increase this number over time but in a thoughtful and managed way. This will allow us to gradually increase the size of our reserved venues and optimize the in-person experience of our Escapement events for all - which of course is one of our core PHLWC goals.
